The momentum of it all

I was in tune with my children, grandchildren,

my relatives the world over.

We shouted not once, not twice but three times in the finale.

Today the festive season replaces

my need for instant action,

showmanship, noise level, decorations

and mostly of dreamlike achievements.

Un retentissement de  mesure

J’étais en harmonie avec mes enfants, petits-enfants et ma famille

dans le monde entier.

On a crié pas une, pas deux, mais trois fois pour le finale.

Maintenant la saison des fêtes remplace

mon besoin d’action instantanée,

de spectacle, de bruit ambiant et de décorations

et surtout de réalisations légendaires.
